Most of these photos were taken by setting my camera on a tripod and
holding the shutter open for arbitrary periods of time. I set the ISO
equivilant speed to 800 and turned noise reduction on, so they are a little
grainy. The Coolpix 995 can do exposures up to 1 minute.
Here we see my wife Mary (right) and her friend trying to stay warm under
a couple of sleeping bags. The temperature was in the low 40's (°F).
I've gamma-stretched the original quite a bit to bring out some details.
